Javier Sarmiento, Crooked grind, Santa Barbara Ca., 2000ish. Javier came to Santa Barbara a few times when he was on Powell, and I’d take him out with no filmer. He would casually crush and I’d shoot photos. We rolled up on this rail and he crooked grinded it right away. I also shot a fisheye sequence of this that was his Bones wheels ad, I gotta find that one, he does it all stylish in the sequence. Javier oozes style.
