MARK APPLEYARD AND CHRIS COLE
I’ve been wanting to post this photo for a while, and after watching Chris Cole’s Nineclub interview, I figured I’d put it up. This is from a Make-a-wish event in Houston Tx. I’m guessing 2000? Pretty sure Chris rode for World at the time, and Appleyard was just about to get on Habitat. (Mark was with us (Muska, Nagai) on this trip because he was thinking about riding for Shorty’s.) I’ll never forget the first time I saw Chris Cole Skate. It was at a Tampa Am many years ago, and I pretty much thought he was the best skater I’d ever seen. He and Mark are obviously two of the best to ever do it, and also two of my all time favs. -EHatch @chriscobracole @mark_appleyard
